People who really know me know that

1. I love lists. I cannot function without them.

2. I love to feed people.

3. I own two of the most ridiculous cats in the universe.

4. I hope to be remembered for being kind.

5. Sometimes I will put things on my list that are about to be finished just for the satisfaction of crossing them off.

6. I can go to the grocery store without a list, but I’ll likely end up without something I need. I rarely end up with something I don’t need.

7. I love naps. Love. Naps.

8. Most days I love my job. Some days I like my job. Very rarely, if ever, do I hate my job. (I know I’m blessed.)

9. I do not like tomatoes. I do, however, like tomato-based things like tomato sauce and salsa.

10. I need to have a plan.

In case you need a reason

If you’re looking for a reason to go to church, go for the typos in the church bulletin.

Yesterday morning…

instead of ‘the precious name of Jesus’ it was ‘the previous name of Jesus’. Aaaaaand what might that be?

And instead of ‘Go in peace. Christ is with you.’ It was ‘Go in peace. Chris is with you.’ Well, that’s nice. 😀

It’s ‘Friday’

Oh, I do love a long weekend!

This week has been ridiculous, but at least it was a short week.

In case you’re curious, the drama of the last post has been…whatevered. Resolved? Something.

And C is coming to visit this weekend…always a bonus. 😀

12 miles tomorrow morning…can she do it?

Save the drama for your llama.

Normally Girls’ Weekends are drama-free. This weekend, however, was an exception to the rule. The rule which helps define the group. I don’t like when things like this happen. The dynamic of the group has changed, and I’m not especially happy about it.

And what can I do about it? Pretty much nothing except lay low and wait for people to work their business out.

Travel site…

I haven’t done too much poking around and I don’t know whether it’s something I’ll ever use, but if you want to check out Jetsetter, here you go!

I was feeling a little blocked, but also like I should post, so I Googled ‘blog prompt’…I figured maybe I’d find something to get me going. I clicked on the first site, didn’t like the prompt, so I clicked ‘next prompt’. Didn’t like that one either. Clicked ‘next prompt’ again. After 7 or 8 discarded prompts I decided that I wasn’t doing it right.

So instead I’m posting about nothing. Because I’m home sick, and I feel like crap, and that’s what I’ve got.

Pet Peeves

I’d say I’m fairly laid back. Not much really ruffles my feathers, and I didn’t think I really had any pet peeves.

Well, I do.

It drives me up a wall when people stand in the doorway talking to whomever is in the office or wherever. It’s a doorway. People walk through it. Until you decided to stand there and block it, that is.
